Supports the Treasurer and CFO organization by performing financial analyses and making sound recommendations related to cash flows, financial performance, debt and equity management, cost/benefit analysis, capital structure, investment portfolio analysis, business plans, and regulatory alternatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Performs financial analysis related to capital structure, capital costs, financing analysis, investment decisions, project initiatives, and other corporate initiatives.
Performs cost/benefit, lease/buy, capital structure, and regulatory alternatives analyses.
Analyzes options for improvement on related processes and costs.
Provides support to pension and credit & risk management activities.
Analyzes and evaluates the Company's financial forecast and results.
Evaluates optimization activities including debt pre-funding, commodities and financial hedging, credit risk, etc. Understands drivers to credit ratings and the calculation of various credit metrics to assist with the 10-year planning process.
Maintains strong professional relationships with a variety of internal and external parties, including consultants, rating agencies, portfolio managers, investors, and other external agents. Confers with internal stakeholders to ensure coordination and validating of key assumptions and outputs.
Reviews financial models including monthly and annual forecast with confidence.
Prepares data, reports, and narrative for regulatory filings, financing applications, cost of capital statements, corporate planning guidelines, and resource plan financial forecasts.
Researches and offers recommendations on a variety of investment issues and alternatives (e.g., pension funding).
Develops and maintains forecasting models (e.g., UI Planner and Excel) that accurately reflect regulatory and company policies, requirements, and guidelines.
Ensures all compliance aspects of position are known and followed; understands and complies with all policies, codes and regulations applicable to position and company.
Performs related duties as assigned.
Essential Education, Skills, and Environment
Education and Work Experience
Bachelor's degree from an accredited school plus 6 years of related work experience.
Candidates that do not possess a bachelor's degree must have a minimum of 10 years of related work experience.

Annual Salary: $71,200 (Min) to $91,500 (Mid); Up to 10% Short Term Incentive Plan opportunity at the discretion of the company.
