At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time, others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.
This is a remote position, so you'll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.
This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.

As part of the Commerce team, the GoDaddy Payments Risk organization helps ensure a healthy and compliant merchant portfolio. We work hard to protect the commerce platform while providing our merchants with a world-class experience with minimal friction. The ideal Senior Transaction Risk Analyst candidate possesses the ability to navigate ambiguity with ease and strong decision-making skills.
What You'll Get To Do...
Work in a fast-paced queue environment to review high-risk signals, transaction activity, and account activity for merchant payment processing accounts
Mitigate risk and fraud exposure through detailed merchant investigations by collecting and analyzing business, account, and applicant information/documentation
Identify and flag developing fraud and risk trends
Support risk operations team to review and resolve complex investigation escalations
Support management with additional workflows as needed
Support concurrence and approval of Risk Analyst decisions
Provide feedback and solutions to help improve our risk workflows and to support our merchants with a seamless world-class experience
Partner with product, engineering, and other platform teams to improve overall Risk processes and products
Maintain production and quality operational targets
This position will have a schedule of Thursday
Your Experience Should Include...
4+ years working with risk within the payments or eCommerce industries
4+ years working in the fraud or risk industry
3+ years working in a queue-based environment or support environment
Strong ability to make decisions on high-priority cases with large financial implications
Demonstrate a customer-first mentality
Strong willingness to learn and expand fraud and credit risk knowledge
Demonstrate strong ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams across the company
Ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced work environment
Ability to take initiative with minimal direction
Ability to mentor and oversee Risk Analyst decisions/workflows
