Senior Training Specialist Position Responsibilities

  • Utilizing the ADDIE model, develop and implement interactive, engaging, learner-focused instruction for new hires and existing employees.

  • Facilitate classroom or virtual training for a variety of needs, such as new hire orientation, job skills (technical) training, and product roll-outs.

  • Encourage and enhance participation, facilitate discussion, and keep learners focused by managing timing and pace.

  • Collaborate with business partners to create training solutions and appropriate evaluations of skills and knowledge transfer.

  • Gain a thorough knowledge of products, departmental processes, and operational systems.

  • Management of training deliverable for system, product, change to process projects.

  • Facilitate post training support to ensure transfer of learning to work performance.

  • Manage classroom performance and report back to business partners on a weekly basis.

  • Manage session logistics including access to systems, platforms, and build out training content for training databases.

  • Create Instructor Led Training events and sessions within the Learning Center, including descriptions, classroom sessions, post assessments, evaluations & roster.

  • Build facilitator Guides and participant guides, review and update no less than once per year.

  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • 2 years training and facilitation experience

  • Knowledge of principles and methods of curriculum development, training design, and measurement of training effectiveness.

  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

  • Adept at getting and maintaining attention/involvement of classroom training as well as remote training.

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time.

  • Excellent relationship building skills

  • Knowledge of plan sponsored retirement products and company tools

  • Complex problem solving skills

  • Excels in attention to detail

  • Works independently

As a Training Specialist, you will be responsible for becoming an expert for OtterBox and LifeProof products. The Retail Training Specialist will also be responsible for creating awareness and brand advocacy through the development and delivery of training content to retail associates and managers. Your ability to build relationships and maintain partnerships with store personnel is important in achieving the goals of this program. Requirements: * Drive to and provide training for all locations in assigned geographic territory * Educate and train on our client's products, programs, and promotions * Create and maintain strong relationships built on quality training and interactions with retail associates * Maintain a thorough understanding of the products of our client by proactively finding news and insight on your products * Setting up, staffing, planning, executing, and reporting on various retailer training events including webinars and in store events * Execute online, in-store and webinar sales associates' training * Mon-Fri Full Availability throughout duration (8/23-12/17) * Store Visits MUST take place between 9AM-5PM * Visits cannot take more than 30-45 minutes to complete (Store Visit/Reporting) * Previous experience in a sales environment * A passion for mobile technology devices: Smart Phones * 1-3 years of experience as an effective product trainer or sales specialist * Independent and motivated team player * Access to a Reliable Transportation; Must be able to travel to multiple stores per day Who is Mosaic?
