The Senior Training Specialist's primary role is to identify, develop and support the implementation of progressive competency-based technical training programs, ensuring consistency, compliance, and effectiveness within and across departments. In addition, coordinating and delivering on-boarding training for new personnel and facilitate cross-training within and across departments.

The Role

  • Creating and designing area training materials utilizing instructional design concepts

  • Creating area qualifications and supporting the effective delivery of performance-based assessments

  • Coordinating and delivering training programs for the assigned area(s) including:

  • Supporting new employees' on-boarding

  • On-going competency-building of skills and processes

  • Training resulting from identified performance errors

  • Working with area management to develop and revise training curricula and maintain accurate assignments in training development

The Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Master's degree or higher preferred

  • 5-8 years of experience designing and implementing training programs; Articulate 360 and Camtasia 9 highly preferred

  • Skilled in Microsoft programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; LMS and SharePoint preferred
