Designs and delivers claims technical training and may execute on new process initiatives for the claims organization. Responsible for a diverse range of training and facilitation skills for a variety of different learners and delivery environments.

Designs training programs and customizes learning solutions.
Facilitates training and various educational programs/offerings; adjusts to all levels of knowledge, experience, and learning styles using multiple delivery platforms/methods.
Provides evaluative feedback and coaching to learners. This may include, but is not limited to one-on-one training sessions, simulations, role-playing, etc.
Reviews, updates, prepares and action all aspects of learning logistics to include classroom materials, administrative documents, surveys and learning systems.
Actively works toward the goal of developing independent learners.
Manages class attendance, behavior, and pace to ensure complete content delivery. Refers potential disciplinary situations to leadership and/or Human Resources.
Maintains business relationships with peers, supervisors, or managers
Manages and provides feedback to leadership to elevate performance issues within the learning environment.
Identifies and ensures procedure, content and interactive activities are relevant and accurate through communication with Claims leadership.
Participates in ongoing learning experiences to maintain current, up to date and relevant skills.
May participate in projects/assignments as directed.
Stays current on new content.
Occasional travel required
Evening/weekend hours may be required
Knowledge, skills/abilities listed below are the requirements needed to be proficient in the job.
Demonstrated relevant, technical (claims) experience
Specific (claims) experience or knowledge may be necessary in some cases
Ability to think critically and solve problems
Demonstrated interpersonal, consulting, facilitation, communication and presentation skills.
Ability to create an engaging, interactive and supportive learning environment.
Demonstrated ability to coach and provide feedback for performance
Technical construction knowledge preferred
Education and/or Experience
Education and/or experiences listed below are the minimum requirements for job entry.
In lieu of degree, minimum of 1 year relevant adult learning and/or administration, instructional design or performance improvement experience.

Typical office environment requiring the use of typical office equipment (e.g., computers, phones, etc.). Computer keyboarding, computer monitor and mouse use including reaching forward, grasping, finger and wrist manipulation, and neck bending and turning; near vision is necessary for computer monitor use. If working in an Emerging Workspace, or similar working arrangement, lifting of laptop equipment, files and/or personal belongings weighing 10 lbs. or less is required.
