The Schneider maintenance team has an immediate need for an energetic, safety minded Sr. Van Trailer Technician to perform all van trailer estimation, diagnosis, and repairs following standard operating procedures (SOP's) and check lists. You will complete all types of trailer repairs in a proficient manner including accident repair. The accident repairs on trailers may include welding and complex component changes. Additionally, you will be accountable to diagnose and repair all trailer electrical systems. Lastly, you will complete routine rebuilds and replacements, making best value and safety decisions to continue to operate, repair or replace, and then perform technical repairs and/or replacements. Our preferred candidate will have:

  • High School diploma/GED or relevant work experience required; must have a Technical degree, certificate, or diploma in welding, electronics, or related systems or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum of 2 years of industry experience

  • Must be Annual Vehicle Inspector Certified (per DOT requirements) and Brake Inspector Certified (per DOT requirements)

  • Tool mastery welders, cutting torch, frame / body straightening equipment, hand and power tools, digital multimeter, and shop computer navigation.

  • Must be able to operate yard tractors to bring equipment into shop; must be able to park trailers into work spaces.

  • Successfully demonstrated welding skills in non-standard situations and on varying materials.

  • Advanced skills with diagnostic software, Detroit S-60, DD15 engines, and DEF/after treatment repairs

  • Skill with windows based computer systems and ability to use diagnostic software preferred

  • Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and written, and have the ability to read and understand English

  • Based on location, may require a valid driver's license and meet the Schneider hiring criteria

  • Ability to provide own tools within 30 days of hire (The Shop leader will cover required tools.)

They also assist our Guests and maintain ideal player conditions in the midway at all times. NITTY GRITTY DETAILS: * Delivers an unparalleled Guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games in an ideal environment for celebrating all out fun. * Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action. * Provides timely and accurate service while managing wait times and communicating information as needed to Guests, Team Members, and Managers. * Greets Guests with a positive attitude and enthusiasm while performing multiple job functions. Smiles and greets Guests upon entering Midway. * Ensures the setup, maintenance and repair of all amusement equipment as directed by management. * Assists in maintaining the game repair and preventative maintenance tracking, and assists in the recognition and acquisition of needed games parts. * Assists management and co‐workers with block training. * Verifies the completion of all Midway punch lists and Tuesday Test Drive issues list. * Completes any needed component level board repairs to the limits of repair or test equipment available. * Rebuilds all major game sub‐assemblies and organizes the tracking of same. * Organizes, maintains, and inventories all test equipment and major tools. * Assists the Guest with all requests and answers questions as needed and makes recommendations. * Bids farewell to Guests leaving.
