Our client is hiring a Senior Tooling Design Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Senior Tooling Design Engineer

• You will design fastener tooling using AutoCAD, SolidWorks or any other CAD system for up to 5 Die, 5 Blow for Nationals, Sacma, Nedschroef, Nakashimada and Carlos Salvis.
• Layout tooling progressions for up to 5 die, 5 blow and secondary tooling solutions for Hartford Roll Threaders, Townsend Shavers and Pointer Tooling.
• Manage your own design projects from start to finish.
• Design tooling for Formax FX33’s (3/8” with 3 stations), FX32’s (3/8” with 2 stations), FX45, FX44, FX53, FX54, FX55 or other brands.
• Apply National Machinery handbook standards.
• Learn to use DeForm software for the analysis of die designs.

Requirements of the Senior Tooling Design Engineer

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a technical equivalent is a plus but not required.
• Internships or one or more years of full-time experience in fastener tooling design is a plus.

Compensation for the Senior Tooling Design Engineer

The targeted annual starting salary for this position ranges from $90,000.00 to $110,000.00 depending on experience.
