Westminster Title, a subsidiary of Toll Brothers, America's Luxury Home Builder, is seeking an experienced Senior Title Officer/Commercial Title Manager to join our team in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania.

What is the opportunity?

The Commercial Title Officer determines insurability of title to real estate, manages employees, supervises production of pre's, commitments and policies, and advises staff on clearing title requirements while ensuring insurance and title rates are in accordance with State regulations. They also serve as the main contact for acquisition, commercial title work, attorneys, underwriters, and all other necessary parties to transaction as it relates to title questions and issues.

What are the primary responsibilities?

• Read, examine, and determine insurability of title to issue title insurance pre's, commitments, and policies.

• Main contact for all Toll and commercial complex and high liability deals. Serves as the main contact for attorneys, underwriters, etc. for transactions.

• Manage and educate direct reports to develop the skill sets to handle the issuance of title insurance and develop and implement title policies and procedures in areas of responsibility to ensure professional requirement and responsibilities are met

• Maintain necessary licenses and complete continuing education to remain compliant and licensed

• Other duties as needed

Qualifications

Do you have these qualifications?

Essential:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as Commercial Title Officer in search, exam and underwriting

• Minimum of 5 years' experience as Senior Title Officer in search, exam and underwriting

Preferred:

• Bachelor's Degree and at least 7 years work related experience
• 10 years of experience in title search, exam and underwriting
