Internal testing expert to support the successful delivery of projects using both traditional waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies.
Accountable for the development and execution of test plans for multiple assigned projects. Partners with various business customers to understand their testing needs. Manages the testing issues resolution process within a project.
Utilizes standard, repeatable testing processes, tools, and contributes to the adoption of automated testing within the organization.
o Assumes a leadership role for all aspects of testing within a project.
o Coordinates test execution, including tasks, timeline and resource management between all impacted areas; systems, business analysts, business partners, and vendor.
o Directs, manages, plans and executes the testing activities for all appropriate projects.
o Prepares activity and progress reports for the various tests.
o Ensures that system tests are successfully completed, documented and that issues are tracked and resolved.
o Contributes to developing, maintaining and enhancing testing standards, guidelines and processes for the organization.
o Assists in building a standard, repeatable library of effective test plans, scripts, templates and test cases.
o Works with business partners to define quality standards, leading and/or conducting testing processes and communicating on the resolution of issues.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort:
Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent combination of training and experience, plus 3 years of related experience.
5 years of hands-on software testing
Hands-on experience in creating test plans/test cases/testing templates and tools
At least three years' experience in healthcare
Familiar with automated testing tools
Expert in Microsoft tools
Ability to multi task and prioritize department work load
Experience with Cognizant QNXT and Cognizant Clinical CareAdvance Applications is a plus
Requires Healthcare Claims and Enrollment processing knowledge
SQL query building is a plus
The ability to work within a team, articulate status and issues
