Job Description:

  • 5-8 Years Experience

  • Must demonstrate solid knowledge of Health Care Claims processing.

  • Must have knowledge and experience in testing and development life cycle methodologies.

  • Experience in testing web based applications.

  • Experience in Claims processing and must be familiar with claims processing in healthcare industry. It will be a plus if they have knowledge of Enrolment processing.

  • Experience processing claims using the 837 Institutional and Professional HIPAA Transaction.

  • Experience in manual and automated testing using HP QuickTest Pro.

  • Experience using HP ALM and/or an equivalent tool.

  • Must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.

Software & Tools:

  • Hewlett Packard Tool Suite Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and Quick Test Pro (QTP)
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
  • Proven proficiency with: SQL and PL/SQL
  • SoapUI

Additional Skills:

Test automation using Selenium, Cucumber

VIEW JOBS 11/1/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-01-30T00:00 Overview Amyx is seeking to hire Senior Functional Testers located in Washington, D.C. This position will be supporting our SEC client. Responsibilities The Quality Control Test Center (QCTC) lab is an independent test lab that performs functional, 508 compliance, load/stress, and usability testing for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Office of Information Technology (OIT). Our client is looking for us to operate the QCTC on a day-to-day basis in support of product, project, and technologies testing in the SEC environment throughout the Waterfall or Agile development lifecycle. As a member of the QCTC team, you will be determining the test readiness of a product and inform the Government if additional information and/or a product demo is required from the development team. You will be preparing for, conducting, and documenting the test readiness and/or demo of a product to ensure that all related test items and materials have been completed and are ready for turnover to the next Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) phase. You will be ensuring that all defects found during testing are recorded in the QCTC defect tracking tool and provide the Government with preliminary test results. As a member of the QCTC team, you may be involved in any or all the following: * Planning of accessibility (Section 508) testing activities for new product releases and for incremental improvements to existing products, projects, and technologies. * Development of load and/or stress test data as necessary * Confirmation that a product being tested conforms to specifications and correctly performs all its required functions * Series of functional tests to validate the product's features using a wide range of normal and erroneous input data. * Planning and conduct of usability testing for the products, projects and technologies identified employing the established testing practices, processes, and procedures. * Configuring, integrating, operation, administration, and maintenance of the SEC enterprise testing tools used in the QCTC lab * Maintenance of product testing metrics and testing dashboard The following testing tools are used in the QCTC currently: HP LoadRunner, HP UFT, HP ALM, JAWS, Chrome Vox, Voice Over, WAT, and Dragon NaturallySpeaking. Qualifications Required Skills and Qualifications: * A minimum of 8 years' experience conducting functional testing * Adept at conducting manual and automated testing using HP Unified Functional Testing (UFT) and Selenium * Experienced in conducting market research and making recommendations on new automated functional testing tools and technologies * Able to lead functional testing for an independent test lab working on multiple products of different types and scope following traditional waterfall and Agile delivery framework * Proficient in using tools such as JAWS and HP ALM * Good communication skills and ability to represent the lab and the Governance Branch during discussions with the project team Amyx is an Equal Opportunity employer.
