In this role, you have the opportunity to
Perform the various tasks necessary to tune Radio Frequency/Microwave (RFM) assemblies to meet customer specifications. Responsible for the testing, tuning and troubleshooting of complex, multi-function RFM microelectronic modules, assemblies and subsystems in a clean room environment.
You are responsible for
Complete work assignments as directed by Supervisors/Managers and accurately report findings to aid in decision making and problem solving
Perform RF/Microwave related tests utilizing a full array of RF microwave laboratory equipment
Tunes, tests, and troubleshoots millimeter wave / microwave components and assemblies
Assist Engineering on lab projects
Work from schematics, work instructions and alignment procedures
Solve practical problems encountered in an efficient and timely manner
Compile and record data and test results, ensuring accuracy
Perform daily, weekly and monthly scheduled (maintenance) tasks and perform necessary interventions
Record test data in automated Excel spreadsheets
Ensure the quality of all work performed

You are a part of
A successful organization that is experiencing rapid growth while pushing the limits of current technology. This position is part the Microwave business unit working in the Production department at the Hudson, NH facility.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Associate degree from a technical school or 6 years on the job training without degree
Working knowledge of RF and microwave electronics
Experience in application RF fundamentals including but not limited to RF Gain, Gain Flatness, Gain Matching, Return Loss, P1 dB Compression, Phase tracking, IMD, spurious and harmonics.
Ability to set up test equipment for testing production assemblies
Ability to read and understand assembly drawings, ATPs, and schematics
Ability to troubleshoot both DC and RF circuits
Ability to troubleshoot product circuits accurately to component level
Knowledge of tuning logic and methods
Understanding of transmission line theory, AC/DC circuits
Computer literate and proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access) and various other computer software
Good manual dexterity while working under a microscope
Requires good oral and written communication skills
Ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently
