Senior Test Manager - Newark, NJ - Hybrid

Title: Senior Test Manager Location: Newark, NJ - Hybrid (One week per month onsite) Duration: Fulltime Responsibilities: Identify the testing requirements, create standard templates and processes. Develop test strategy and test plan for testing Energy Management System (EMS) implementation for an electric utility client. Manage the testing and defect remediation. Lead creation of test management plan for the overall Program. Lead design of testing phases, including function testing, system integration testing, UAT, performance testing, security testing, and DR testing. Follow and enforce the policies and procedures of Testing Center of Excellence (TCoE). Regularly audit Testers’ work, ensuring they follow the TCoE policies and procedures. Create and lead a testing command center, responsible for reporting on test progress, tracking problem reports, and determining whether test phase exit criteria is achieved. Manage defects in the Defect Tracking System (ALM & ServiceNow) ensuring issues are assigned and resolved in a timely manner. Report defect status and coordinate with key stakeholders on the program. Participate in release planning to ensure defects are properly documented in the release notes. Required Skills: Minimum of 5 years of experience as Test Manager and 15 Years in Software Testing. Must have experience with Energy Management System (EMS) or Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS). Deep knowledge of various types of testing, including unit test, system test, user acceptance testing, usability testing, security testing, performance testing, and DR testing ServiceNow Test Management Module experience is a plus Extensive experience in creating test strategy and approach for hybrid Agile projects. Must know and understand testing life cycles from a Waterfall and Agile perspective Must have experience with unit testing, system testing, system integration testing, regression testing, user acceptance testing, smoke testing, etc. Must have Defect Management and triage experience Ability to create and maintain a Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)
