Overview
Position Summary
This person will lead technical efforts related to the development of new products, the maintenance of existing products and research efforts related to new technology and processes. This person will work closely with test systems in the development and manufacturing environments. They will be responsible for developing, validating, and maintaining these test systems while ensuring adherence to company and regulatory procedures and requirements.
Responsibilities
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Lead test method development in the product development and manufacturing environments
Good understanding of testing principles/methods/concepts and applying them with a strong focus on better software quality
Develop and automate tests for software validation by setting up of test environments, designing test plans, developing test cases/scenarios/usage cases, and executing these cases
Work with development team to identify and capture test cases, ensure version and parameter control
Coordinate testing with engineering and production roadmap deliverables
Propose and implement design changes following Tactile's change procedures
Interface with outside suppliers
Help create and maintain documentation needed for the Design History File (DHF)
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Required:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or similar technical discipline
6+ years of work experience in test development, automation, or software development within a regulated industry
Working knowledge of non-product software development lifecycle
Experience with test method validation
Fluent in CAD
Ability to modify existing code and write new basic code for execution of automated testing
Preferred:
Experience with Azure DevOps
Python
Knowledge & Skills
Working knowledge of MS Office software applications (Word, Excel, Project, Visio, etc.)
Software/Hardware integration

Below is the starting salary range for this position, although offers may differ based on the candidate's location, job-specific knowledge, skills and experience.
$91,800 - $128,520
