This recruitment will be used to fill multiple project positions; One project position ending June 2025, and two ending in 2026.

The ideal candidate for the Senior Test Engineer position will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and executing manual and automated testing solutions for internal and external-facing applications. The candidate should have a detailed understanding of modern programming patterns, paradigms, and industry best practices. They should have a strong background in collaborating with QA testers, test engineers, stakeholders, and technical staff to achieve assigned duties, operational, and strategic goals and objectives.

In addition, the ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, which enable them to maintain effective relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders. They should have strong organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and possess analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to apply Agile principles to support LCD systems and technology.

If you have experience maintaining technical documentation and providing solutions that support continuous integration and have excellent planning and organizing skills with the ability to monitor and analyze system performance, report test results, and conduct technical analysis, this may be the opportunity for you!

This is a project position with an anticipated end date of June 2025.

Some of what you will do:

  • Design and implement test strategies using industry best practices for both internal and external applications.

  • Execute end-to-end test suites ensuring timely delivery within sprint timelines.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

  • Innovate and implement solutions to support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).

  • Mentor and guide junior technical staff, promoting a culture of quality and best practices.

Required Education, Experience:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, a related information technology field, and/or closely related field and five (5) years of demonstrated IT experience with analysis, testing, quality assurance, maintaining software applications, implementing software development projects, including exposure to testing in an Agile environment using testing and release management tools.

OR

Seven (7) years' experience in the information technology field analyzing, testing, and/or maintaining software applications, or implementing software development projects and including testing experience in an Agile environment using testing and release management tools.

 -IT Experience may include experience with Software Development/Programming experience including (but not limited to):

Application Lifecycle Management Tools such as Azure DevOps, etc.

Automated Software testing object-oriented programming such as C# and using tools such as Selenium and LoadRunner.

Demonstrated experience with automated testing of software applications, systems, and processes.

Integrated Development Environment (IDE) such as Visual Studio.

Scripting languages such as JavaScript, and/or PowerShell.

Cloud infrastructure, applications, and APIs (including SaaS, PaaS and/or IaaS models).

Experience performing data analysis via SQL querying.

Agile software development experience.

Desirable/Preferred Education, Experience or Certifications:

Certification(s) in software testing techniques, methodologies and/or tools such as from ASQ or ISTQB including:

  • Certified Tester Foundation Level.

  • Technical Test Analyst.

  • Agile Tester.

  • Certified Quality Engineer.

  • Experience with using industry standard tools for creating, managing, and running tests (such as Azure DevOps, TFS, JIRA). Experience using testing frameworks to automate and execute tests (such as Nunit and Selenium).

  • Experience analyzing and testing MS Dynamics systems and components including Customer relationship management (CRM) and/or Finance and Supply Chain Management (F&SCM).

An understanding of HTML and CSS.

  • Demonstrated commitment to teamwork, customer service, and working under constrained deadlines.

  • Financial and/or state government knowledge.

Additional Requirement of Employment:
