Job Summary

The Senior Test Engineer - MEMS is responsible for the architecture, design and bring-up of custom systems used to characterize, test, and calibrate SiTime MEMS-based timing devices. We are looking for a highly motivated individual interested in collaborating with a cross-functional team to execute on the following responsibilities:

• Be a hands-on technical driver to develop and release custom test systems for MEMS devices.

• Develop software to automate data acquisition, perform data analysis and implement algorithms for device trimming.

• Understand MEMS parameters and failure modes and develop test methodologies to characterize and test them.

• Innovate and prototype new methodologies for conducting high-precision timing parameter measurements (e.g. ADEV, Phase Noise, Jitter, etc.).

• Manage and collaborate with external partners to develop new systems or metrology hardware.

• Lead qualification and release-to-production activities.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics. Exceptional candidates with other technical backgrounds will be considered.

• Experience in driving technical projects and executing on aggressive schedules.

• Hands-on programming experience: prior experience with C# and MATLAB preferred but not required.

• Hands-on experience with electrical characterization and test equipment.

• Strong data analysis skills.

• Knowledge of analog electronics and experience with board-level design and debug is a plus.

• Previous experience with MEMS design, test and/or characterization is preferred but not required.

• Must be physically able to lift, push, pull up to 10 lbs.
