Responsible for tracking and encouraging the tenant progression through the TC process: plan review, build-out and successful openings. Ensure that the tenant coordination guidelines set forth by the company are adhered. In addition, this position will ensure that the tenant plan submittal represents the optimum prototype design & materials that will complement the aesthetics for the shopping center. This position interacts with Department Staff, Business Development, Center Management, Law/Leasing, Tenants, Designers, Cabinet Makers, Architects, Owners, Installers and Project Consultants.
Manage the overall tenant coordination process such as, tenant plan submission, accuracy of lease plans & lease out-line drawings, kiosk fabrication, construction, permitting, landlord work, and project timing, focusing on early store openings
Track and accurately report the tenant's progress throughout the entire TC process. Track all tenant activities from deal approval through the kiosk opening. Track agreement execution, plan submittals/approvals, Building/Health Department reviews, permits and construction. Electronically review and approve tenant plan submission and documents for compliance with company criteria, focusing on improving the design standards of kiosks and the aesthetics of the common area
Coordinate construction activity for Landlord work with Center Operations, including development of plans, permitting, estimating, bids and preparation of contracts/ work orders for an on time or early turnover to tenant
Participate in the Business Development/tenant coordination conference call to ensure tenant issues are clearly communicated
Maintain communication with key internal groups such as business development, leasing and center operations ensuring tenant issues are resolved and kiosks are built according to Brookfield Properties Retail Group approval
Review and negotiate construction lease exhibits with tenants in conjunction with Law/Leasing team
Assist in generating and maintaining comprehensive design criteria
Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of lease plans and lease outline drawing, provide guidance to CAD Specialists regarding the accuracy of these documents
Interact and assist Developers, Vice-Presidents, and Leasing towards the successful project completion
Site visits required for assigned centers as determined by your Supervisor
Adhere to the Tenant Buildout Commitment and payments process to insure compliance with internal audit procedure

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design, Engineering, or Construction Management preferred
1+ years of retail design and/or project management experience preferred
Excellent analytical skills

Ability to deal with multiple tasks effectively and establish priorities
Proactive and results oriented
Ability to negotiate and communicate to all levels inside and outside the organization
Proficient in AutoCAD
Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Acrobat Standard
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Knowledge of National Building Codes, building materials and systems, such as MEP and life safety preferred.
Knowledge of 3D Studio Max and/or Google Sketch UpKnowledge of AutoCAD Inventor Suite
Knowledge of Illustrator, In Design, and Creative Suite for MAC
