The hours for this position are Monday-Friday 7:30/8:30am-6pm and Saturdays 7:30/8:30am-12pm.

Senior Universal Teller

Provides customer services by processing account transactions. Cross-selling/marketing responsibility. Promoting the Bank's services.


May perform any or all of the following:

  1. Process customer transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments and check cashing in accordance with Bank policy.
  2. Maintain control of cash drawer and balance daily to the Teller terminal. Process all supporting documentation following Bank procedures.
  3. Expand current and solicit new customer accounts through cross selling of additional Bank products and services; refer customers to appropriate personal banking staff as necessary.
  4. Project the appropriate banking image through interaction and responsiveness to customer, public and department inquiries regarding account balances, Bank policy and general Bank information.
  5. Maintain working knowledge of Bank's products, services, regulations and procedures.
  6. Assist in training newly hired tellers and serve as Lead Teller when needed.
  7. Conduct oneself in a manner that will enhance the image of the bank by demonstrating professional dress & attitude. Support and assist staff at all levels as required.
  8. Perform any additional duties as assigned.



  1. High school education or equivalent knowledge of basic mathematics, business and communication courses.
  2. A high degree of customer service orientation needed, including effective communication skills, sensitivity, judgement and initiative.
  3. The ability to handle high stress situations and maintain a high level of energy essential.
  4. Minimum 18 months previous teller experience.
  5. Work requires knowledge of general Bank and departmental policies and procedures.
  6. Ability to maintain confidential nature of customer files.
  7. Ability and willingness to work weekends as needed.


Must be able to operate a computer and other basic office equipment.


Requires sitting, standing, bending and reaching. May require light lifting. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines. Requires normal range of hearing and vision.


Must be able to work independently and resolve problems. Must relate and interact with people at all levels in the Bank.


Called upon to work flexible days, hours, and locations. Works in a typical bank setting.

Job Summary Customer Care Representatives will provide best in class service as part of a top performing Contact Center.
