The Opportunity

The Recruiter is at the forefront of the proactive candidate sourcing, recruiting and hiring of talent for Berkadia. The Recruiter will manage the full lifecycle corporate-based recruiting experience that includes developing close partnerships with hiring managers, creating candidate pipelines for current and future roles, requisition intake to candidate hire recruiting processes.

  • Source and screen talent through passive and active candidate resources including postings, social media, networking, internet research, and cold calling.

  • Determine candidate qualifications including leadership, culture, and technical fit through well-developed screening methods and interviewing techniques including the use of behavioral based interview questions.

  • Partner with our HR Business Partners ("HRBPs") on hiring needs and strategies to ensure align with the overall business strategy.

  • Interact with HRBPs on compensation offer recommendations by providing appropriate documentation. Communicates the final offer to the hiring manager, prepares the final offer letter, ensures signed copy is returned and filed.

  • Act as a liaison with candidates and hiring managers in an effort to drive open and effective communication. Coordinate interviews and any necessary hiring assessments with the candidates and hiring managers.

  • Communicate company values, culture, and benefits to candidates.

  • Occasionally will coordinate contract and full-time staffing vendors to aid with filling open positions.

  • Coordinate the new hire onboarding process with HR and the Business in effort to provide an exceptional employee experience.

What someone will need to be successful in this role

  • Experience recruiting in Financial Services or Real Estate is preferred.

  • Advanced knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter and other social media and sourcing tools; previous experience utilizing Applicant Tracking Software (ATS) helpful.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a larger team with a demonstrated flexible attitude and open mind.

  • Outstanding attention to detail, strong organizational skills, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities, and ability to proactively manage expectations.

  • Advanced experience in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

  • Ability to interact with a wide range of people from diverse experiences and cultures.

  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and relationship building skills. Must be confident and comfortable in speaking with senior management, internal colleagues, and external partners.

VIEW JOBS 10/15/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-01-13T00:00 Position Summary The Senior Operations Analyst will work with production, credit, and surveillance teams to oversee the Small Balance Loan (SBL) business channel's operations requirements, including policies, procedures, systems administration, and reporting. Responsibilities Essential Duties (Primary Responsibilities) include the following. * Oversee surveillance team with GPO management, ensuring practices align with policies and procedures, developing and delivering management reporting, and maintaining relationships and feedback mechanisms with the production and credit teams and investors. * Work closely with business channel's teams to document and post SBL policies and procedures. * Monitor SBL internal credit approvals, broker policy compliance, operational policy and procedures, to ensure practices align with policies and procedures, or recommend changes to implement improvements. * Provide coordination and support to business channel's teams to enable systems access to internal and investor applications. * Act as SBL team liaison for SharePoint and OmniView systems, identifying business unit needs, enhancements, or performance issues. * Monitor SBL team compliance with data entry requirements in Mortgage Lending and OmniView applications and provide prescriptive guidance on how to address data gaps. * Be responsible for the development, maintenance, and distribution of business channel dashboards and reporting with SBL Heads of Production and Credit. * Coordinate the management and performance assessment of Third-Party Vendors for the SBL business channel, with the TPE Group, which includes providing SharePoint access and instructions, monitor business channel satisfaction with vendors, etc. Skills and Compliance Adhere to Berkadia's policies and exhibit proficiency and understanding of Berkadia's Values and position-specific skills. * Proficient in financial analysis, risk mitigation, and compliance practices * Advanced experience in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio * Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities * Outstanding attention to detail * Strong communication skills and ability to manage expectations of both internal and external customers * Willingness to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to continually evolving technology Qualifications Qualifications to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the experience required. * Bachelor's degree or higher * Minimum of 2 (two) years of progressive commercial real estate experience – various opportunities for different levels of experience * Experience in underwriting agency (GSE) multifamily loans is a plus Education (minimum requirement) Bachelor's degree or equivalent Previous Experience (Required) Two to four years prior experience in a similar position.
