Optum360, an industry leader in healthcare implementation and consulting services, is adding additional talent to our Revenue Cycle Site Transition team. Ideal candidates will have experience in multiple functional revenue cycle areas which include Patient Access, Revenue Integrity, and Patient Financial Services.
Senior Technology Project Managers serve as industry experts while they implement best practices in Optum360 client locations. Site Transition team members combine their leadership, experience and understanding of Optum360 technology and service solutions to bring world class results.

Revenue Cycle Management assessments
Revenue Cycle redesign and alignment with technology solutions and services
Enterprise level Revenue Cycle technology deployments
Revenue Cycle Management process improvement
Multi-facility business and work flows
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including the development of proposals, presentations and communications materials
Interchange claims and patient account data from one platform to another through the Revenue Cycle processing protocols
Work with a cross functional team to engage clients in the deployment of enterprise level technologies and process improvement initiatives
As lead Senior Technical Project Manager for technology deployment, work collaboratively with a team of subject matter experts in managing the assessment, design and deployment of Optum360 software applications
Understand client business metrics and results and how they are supported by our solutions.
Development of options and recommendations for client improvement.
Knowledge of healthcare Revenue Cycle Management industry best practices, technical processes, and operational policies is preferred
Understand and represent Optum360 technology and services and how they will improve client operations
Collaborate with client revenue cycle team and other departments in order to facilitate resolution of process issues and implement world-class solutions
Provide informed feedback to Senior Optum360 and client executives, including assessments of processes, standards, suggestions and improvements
Develop project work plans, tasks and schedules and manage projects in accordance with budget and timeline objectives
Must meet minimum performance standards
Willingness to learn new skills
Accountable for all decisions, actions, and directives with respect to job responsibilities
Provide feedback to management concerning possible problems or areas of improvement
Provide support and service in Eastern time zone hours and clients
Perform other duties as assigned by management

National travel required (25%)
Undergraduate degree or 8 years of healthcare information technology experience
8 years of IT Project Management experience
5 years of working hands-on with all aspects of the System Development Life Cycle
5 years of essential project management methodology knowledge
5 years of data gathering/analysis and writing system requirements directly with customers
2 years of experience with Healthcare Electronic Financial records
Experience working with an Acute Healthcare environment as an employee or consultant
Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Word, and Excel
Capacity to manage large scale projects that involve multi-provider entities or extensive healthcare networks of significant capacity
Demonstrated experience Project Managing team based technology deployment projects with durations greater than 90 days
Ability to travel to customer sites up to 25% of time in the U.S.
5 years of experience understanding back-end business office operations and/or billing operations for a large provider or hospital network
2 years of experience working with test plans, test cases and understanding fundamental testing levels (Unit, Integration, Component, System, UAT)
Experience with Healthcare Lockboxes
Established experience with implementing SaaS based healthcare applications in an acute environment
Strong background and proficiency writing detailed IT policies and processes
Six Sigma ITIL - Green Belt or Black Belt experience
Excellent verbal and written skills and demonstrated ability to present to C level
