The primary skills exercised and developed in the position would include organization and presentation, data analysis, critical thinking, decision-making and project management. This includes developing client deliverables and managing the project to ensure tasks and overall timeline are being met.

  • Develop communications and materials to present strategic initiatives to internal teams and clients

  • Address ad-hoc requests to service technology operations and NextGen program (

  • Plan meetings with stakeholders across LoBs and senior leadership to gain necessary approvals; track takeaways and action items

  • Deepen understanding of emerging technologies and cybersecurity standards.

  • Strategize client engagements for NextGen emerging technologies and align client goals/objectives with BNYM services/support

  • Research opportunities relevant to Ginnie Mae business objectives

  • Lead outreach initiatives to potential external partners; onboard POCs

  • Brief key senior leadership on ongoing efforts

  • Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes, against industry and government standards.

  • Identify impactful opportunities for Internal process improvement and Client business innovation

  • Engage stakeholders and business partners to drive forward innovation efforts and solve complex problems

  • Schedule and lead team meetings

  • Ability to document requirements in PowerPoint presentations

Assists in leading product management development and marketing processes for small products. Liaises with cross-functional teams to provide products that address client needs. Utilizes existing procedures to design and develop products including adoption and marketing strategies for a small sized product. Liaises with cross-functional teams in supporting straightforward product management project deliverables, ectives. Compiles thorough and detailed reports on product competitors, consumer trends, and market status. Conducts analyses that determine a product's business case, feasibility, requirements, and scope.

Bachelor's degree in business management or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.2-4 years of related experience required.

Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus..

Work you'll do We are seeking an experienced Strategy Manager to help define how Deloitte will leverage emerging technologies and work with strategic partners to shape new markets, harness innovative technologies, and create new business models to better serve the needs of our clients. This is a high visibility role that will provide exposure to senior firm leadership through a range of strategy projects including business unit growth strategy, industry growth strategy, strategic planning, business model analysis and operating model design. Responsibilities: * Lead development of actionable strategies to drive growth across selected businesses, industries, market offerings and focus areas * Analyze emerging technology trends, develop technology outlooks, synthesize implications and recommendations relevant to areas under study * Develop quantitative models for market sizing, business cases, scenario analysis * Research and analyze emerging business and operating models and apply to address E&A business problem under development * Manage complex strategy projects with multiple work streams * Oversee primary research including developing research hypotheses, questionnaire design, interviewing subject matter expert, and synthesis of findings * Develop strategy storyboards and adapt messaging to different stakeholder groups * Work with key stakeholder groups to gain buy-in on analysis conclusions and recommendations * Develop executive presentations for senior firm leaders * Manage client relationships, engagement risks, and project planning and budgeting * Serve as performance manager and coach for junior staff Qualifications: Required * Undergraduate degree (Engineering, sciences, or business with analytical and quantitative focus preferred) * 10+ years of experience with a top-tier consulting firm in strategy or managerial experience within corporate or business unit strategy function * Ability to travel 0-20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available. Preferred * MBA or Master's degree * Experience either in management consulting or corporate/business unit strategy function across several aspects of strategy such as identifying/analyzing technology trends, synthesizing technology outlooks, analyzing/shaping business and operating model design, developing quantitative models to support market analysis * Track record of applying creative thinking to produce breakthrough strategies * Experience with storyboarding and messaging for different stakeholder groups * Track record of written communication and presentations to executives * Superior project management skills and experience managing a multi-disciplinary team For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado or Nevada, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $139,190 to $256,330.
