Ocala Operations is a multi-shift manufacturing facility that build circuit cards, wiring harnesses, and electo-mechanical assemblies. The facility currently has over 1200 employees and provides products to six Missiles and Fire Control sites. Ocala specializes in both low volume high mix and high volume production that has a combination of automated processes as well as labor intensive manufacturing. Ocala Operations has a represented manufacturing workforce that is supported by a strong engineering and operations support team.

This position is responsible for repairs and maintains automated electrical test equipment. Authors and executes preventive maintenance plans. Fabricates test equipment and incorporates design changes. Rebuilds automated test station's computer systems and associated drivers. Conducts self tests and ensures test stations are production ready. This position will be located at a facility that requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen.

Basic Qualifications:

Two year degree in electronics, or two years of military service with electronics schooling and applied experience, or the completion of a vocational program focused in the area of electronics.

Soldering experience and basic electronics circuitry trouble shooting experience.

Ability to interpret and create interconnect diagrams, schematics, and assembly drawings.

Ability to create technical work instructions.

Must have the ability to work 2nd shift.

This facility requires all candidates must be a US Citizen.

VIEW JOBS 1/20/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-04-20T00:00 JOB SUMMARY / GENERAL DESCRIPTION: This description is for advanced mechanics that are required to perform all aspects of troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance actions on all electro/mechanical systems and other facility equipment. Additional duties include, but are not limited to training lower grade mechanics and general building maintenance support. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Other duties may be assigned. A teammate in this position must have the ability to: * Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance repair on all conveyor, material handling equipment and facility support systems. * Able to use PLC and web based programs to analyze, diagnose and troubleshoot automation malfunctions. * Develop approved system modifications and procure resources needed for project completion. * Other DC maintenance requirements such as, but not limited to: o Refrigeration systems o Plumbing o Building lighting o Dock doors o Air systems o Racking o CCTV o Inter-Connectivity Cabling (PC/PLC/Server) * Weld and fabricate as required. * Research parts, tools and technology as required through all sources available. * Become proficient in the use of all aspects of the McLane Maintenance Connection data base. * Comply with all Company and industrial safety standards. * Provide supervision to the Maintenance team when directed by management. * Comply with all Company and industrial safety standards. * Effectively communicate both written and orally with supervisor and peers. * Follow directions. * Work independently and in a team environment. * Be trained and certified to operate any required equipment within 30 days after hire. * Comply with company attendance policy. * Maintain a flexible work schedule to meet the changing needs of the job. * Work in warm and cold temperature conditions. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: A teammate in this position must: * Have related technical degree or other related professional training. * Have 5+ Years of professional experience in industrial maintenance. * Have Certification in HVAC and welding desirable. * Have 4+ Years of conveyor and automatic sortation maintenance experience. * Be able to read and understand blueprints and CAD. * Have working experience with 480V/3 phase industrial equipment and controls. * Have working knowledge of PLC and computerized controlled automated systems, equipment and functions. * Have strong analytical and problem solving skills. * Have working knowledge of OSHA regulations. * Have basic computer skills with experience in a maintenance database such as MP2, DataStream 7i and Maintenance Connection. * Be able to speak, read and understand the English language. * Be able to successfully pass a physical capabilities test, drug screen and criminal background check. WORKING CONDITIONS: * The environment encompasses all areas of a Distribution Center. * This position requires the teammate to work inside majority of the time. * This position may require work in hot and cold temperature extremes and exposure to dust, dirt, fumes, noise, potentially harmful chemicals, solvents and components, and working in close to proximity to other teammates.
