The Role

The Content Marketing Manager will accelerate Proofpoint's efforts to develop all forms of marketing content, ranging from thought leadership to product to corporate marketing assets. This individual should have strong experience in cybersecurity and a demonstrated ability to product all manner of marketing deliverables.

Your day-to-day

• Work with the PMM leads, product managers, and corporate marketing to accelerate the development of a wide range of content, serving audiences both internal and external.

• Formalize the process of content creation within the PMM functional, assisting with the management of content calendars for the Proofpoint product families.

• Own and deliver the creation of white papers, email copy, webinar content, social media content, and any other content types required, collaborating with other stakeholders in corporate marketing and product management where required.

What you bring to the team

• BA or equivalent experience.

• 3+ years of experience in a role primarily defined by content creation responsibilities.

• 3+ years of experience in information security or compliance product/service companies.

• Project management and cross functional communication skills, ideally demonstrated across product management, product marketing, and corporate marketing functions.

• Results-oriented with demonstrated leadership skills.

• Critical thinker who is action oriented.

• Excellent written, proofreading, and verbal communication skills.

• Must be detail oriented, organized, and can multi-task.

• Ability to demonstrate supportive relationships with peers, clients, partners, and corporate executives.

Base Pay Range: 116,690.00 - 183,370.00 USD

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Washington DC Metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Texas, Washington, Virginia, and Alaska:

Base Pay Range: 96,880.00 - 152,240.00 USD

All other cities and states excluding those listed above:

Base Pay Range: 87,220.00 - 137,060.00 USD
