Job Title:	Senior Technical Training Developer (ILT & eLearning)

Our in-depth expertise in security engineering at the operating system level enables us to help government and commercial customers meet ever-evolving cyber security threats.Job Summary:Owl is hiring for the newly created position of Senior Technical Training Developer initially for Owl’s Cross-Domain Solution customer training. We are searching for someone who considers themselves an experienced training developer who has at least piloted delivery for content they’ve developed … and who possesses a strong eye towards well-designed training materials. Come join a small-but-growing training department that is responsible for all aspects of corporate training: customers, partners, and employees.This role offers a hybrid work arrangement. Much of the work can be done from your home office, but there will be occasions to work in the office. Proximity an Owl’s location (Columbia, MD, Morrisville, NC, or Danbury, CT) is necessary.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Design training content meeting specified learning objectives and develop student assessments that prove it.
Develop training content that is usable regardless of delivery mode (self-paced, ILT, vILT). We already have an established approach and selected tools.
Deliver training pilots and occasionally stakeholder training as needed.
Work within a small but growing team where everyone digs in … rolls up their sleeves … and enjoys our “jack of all trades” philosophy and opportunities it presents each of us.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Education
- Bachelors or Masters in a technical discipline (preferred) or equivalent experience

Experience
- 4-7 years’ experience in technical training for technicalaudiences.
- Strong general technical aptitude.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong experience developing all types of training materials for more technical audiences, particularly for programmer and/or system administrator audiences.
- Self-paced training development experience or strong desire to learn how to create effective training content targeting that delivery mode.
- ILT/vILT delivery experience at least for pilot testing your developed content.
- Experience developing training for the US Government, Dept. of Defense & NSA (preferred).
- SE Linux or UNIX operating systems (preferred).
- XML Schema development (preferred).
- Computer network concepts (preferred).
- Love to learn/play with new technologies.

Additional Competencies/Requirements
- Team player who thrives on individual responsibility.
- Occasional travel (~10%).
- Candidates must be able to obtain/maintain a US Government Secret clearance.
