CHA Consulting Inc. is currently seeking a Senior Technical Support Specialist to join our Information Technology team in the Indianapolis, IN office.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Technical Assistance

  • Provides-on call IT support during business hours

  • Logs Helpdesk requests in the tracking system and provides technical assistance

  • Handles general computer troubleshooting, including hardware and software support

  • Troubleshoots printer and plotter issues

  • Provides remote technical assistance throughout the organization

  • Software

  • Installs new software on company computers

  • Builds new and/or rebuild existing computers

  • Provides Windows operating system and Office 365 product support

  • Contributes to software testing projects

  • Maintains software inventory and licensing compliance

  • Network Assistance

  • Provides and supports ethernet connectivity to network devices

  • Assists with telecommunications support

  • Provides VPN connectivity support

  • Escalates network related outages

  • Miscellaneous

  • Updates IT documentation, FAQ's, and training materials

  • Conducts Information Technology Orientation for new employees

  • Assists with office expansion and reconstruction projects

  • Maintains Information Technology hardware

  • Requires some project-related travel

  • Trains and mentors more junior level Support Specialists

  • Performs other related duties, as assigned

EDUCATION AND LICENSURE

  • High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree preferred

  • Valid drivers license and ability to travel to other offices as needed

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 5 years of Technical Support experience

  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Windows & Office 365 applications

  • MS Certified Professional certification preferred

  • Experience supporting AutoCAD and/or MicroStation preferred
