As a Senior Technical Program Manager, your primary responsibility will be overseeing the management of one of our key end-customer products. This entails close collaboration with architects, engineering, product, design, and business leaders to ensure the successful execution of these programs. This role involves setting clear objectives, managing critical paths, and overseeing key deliverables for complex programs with cross-functional dependencies, timelines, and resource limitations.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Program Manager. Reporting to the Vice President of Engineering Strategy, Planning & Analytics, you'll be responsible for:

  • Strategically analyze initiatives to pinpoint key business and operational performance metrics.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to identify impactful improvement opportunities.

  • Develop program Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to gauge program health and success.

  • Work with peers and stakeholders to establish data-driven improvement goals and monitor progress alongside cross-functional leaders.

  • Advocate for focused prioritization and improvement through regular updates, reporting, scorecards, and business reviews.

  • Champion standards, best practices, and process enhancements among leaders and engineers.

  • Create program documentation/artifacts to enhance visibility and accountability throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

  • 5+ years of technical program management experience, driving high-impact programs in an enterprise technology setting.

  • Experience in executing agile methodologies using tools like JIRA, Asana, SmartSheet, or equivalent.

  • Expertise in JIRA, with the ability to maintain program materials up-to-date and centrally accessible for stakeholders.

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a proven record of project delivery while understanding stakeholder needs.

  • Experience in SaaS Platform development and delivery, including familiarity with software lifecycles, resiliency, quality, and best practices.

  • Ability to drive impactful change at scale through data, influence, and strategic thinking.

  • Comfort navigating through ambiguity and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

This is a hybrid role that can sit in either our San Jose, CA or Bellevue, WA office.

Zscaler's salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.

Base Pay Range

$115,500-$165,000 USD
