Amazon Advertising seeks the worlds brightest and best to drive next-generation solutions that enable advertisers to reach customers across our owned and operated sites, on other high-quality publisher sites across the web, and on millions of desktops, mobile, and connected TV devices. Our mission is to offer the world's most customer-centric advertising. Amazon DSP (ADSP) is Amazon's programmatic advertising product for campaigns spanning Display, Video, and Audio across Amazon properties (e.g., Amazon.com, IMDb TV, Twitch, Fire TV, and Amazon Music) and tens of thousands of third-party (3P) websites and apps.
The Machine Learning & Optimization (MLO) team develops algorithms and systems to improve the performance and delivery of Display Advertising campaigns, and automates campaign management using machine learning techniques. We develop and own high performance, petabyte-scale distributed systems to optimize ad selection, bidding and campaign performance.
As Sr. TPM in the MLO team, you will be responsible for developing the next generation bidding, ad valuation and ad selection products that determine which ads are seen by millions of customers worldwide every day. The digital advertising industry is seeing significant shifts in how bidding is done and you will drive high impact projects to enable this shift. You will work backwards from the customers and collaborate with technical teams across Advertising to implement solutions. You will partner with engineers, scientists, other TPMs, product managers and senior management to help create world-class solutions.
We're looking for entrepreneurial individuals who thrive on solving tough problems. The right candidate for this role is someone who has both a strong technical background, and either technical management or program/product management background. You must be comfortable working with large, complex data sets. You must have a diverse set of unblocking tools and mechanisms, and be able to cultivate relationships and earn trust with teams both inside and outside of your organization. You must be able to thrive in both start-up and more mature business environments, and be willing to not only operate strategically, but be willing to roll up your sleeves to get the job done yourself. No idea is too big for you to consider, and no task is too small for you to deliver on.
