Qualifications
Job Duties: Responsible for global cross-functional program deliverables, schedules, budget, scope definition, execution, and communication.
Lead multi-functional development of program scope, deliverables, timelines, and execution of highly complex Truck App portal on Android Automotive platform. Define work packages within the HMI Evo Truck App Portal (TAP). Drive customer friendly technical architecture. Responsible for creating an operating plan (resources and budget) when the product is in production.
Act as lead person within CSG for driving project technicality. Support the development of HMI Evo TAP software requirements. Define, implement, and monitor roles and responsibilities.
Work with leadership to define level of effort, resource requirements, and summary of timing plans. Plan and manage sprints in harmony with technical leads and management. Coordinate program reviews and communicate project statuses and issues to project team and management.
Manage highly technical internal and supplier teams in several geo-locations. Understand and communicate complex technical and engineering issues. Communicate, coordinate, and consult with Suppliers, platform providers, engineering departments and customers.
Drive the execution of HMI Evo development to the completeness. Coordinate with partners, engineering team, and suppliers in global environment for product schedule and delivery of next generation app platform on HMI Evo. Provide communication of program status to various stakeholders to assure transparency. Anticipate roadblocks and come up with actionable plans to tackle them.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or related field (or the equivalent) and 60 months of relevant experience in IT/Engineering project and resource management.
Experience must include 1) working in engineering within the commercial trucking industry and 2) working on project(s) developing Android apps for consumer or embedded automotive applications. Must have experience using the following tools/software: Engineering Requirements Management DOORS and Project Planning and Tracking Tool Jira. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
This position requires less than 5% domestic travel per year.
