Amyx is seeking to hire a Senior Technical (ST) Program Manager located in Reston, VA for the DASD P&R Military Community and Family Policy (MC&FP) Outreach and Digital Enterprise Services (MODES) contract.


Daily Tasks:

The duties of the Senior Technical Program Manager are to provide management, direction, administration, quality assurance, and leadership of the execution of the IT/IA contract team. Responsibilities will include:

  • Day-to-day oversight of all IT and IA contract support personnel, Tech Order performance, and IT/IA program support services

  • Weekly, Monthly, Semi-Annual, Annual Reports

  • Review and Submit Trip Reports

Supported Technologies:

  • Deep experience using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Powerpoint, and Excel

  • Familiarity with Social Media engagement and site usage


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of DoD technical PM experience

  • Possess one of the following certifications: Global IA Certification (GIAC), Global Security Leadership Certification (GSLC), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM), and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or another DoD 8570.01-M Level 3 authorized IAT/IAM certification

  • 8+ years of experience in planning, directing, and managing complex IT projects and operations of a nature similar in size and scope as referenced under this TO

  • 8+ years of experience in Change M and quality assurance concepts and guidelines, such as AGILE, IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI), Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)

  • 8+ years of experience in leading projects involving compliance with the DoD CC SRG and the DoD RMF (e.g., DoDI 8510.01)

  • Favorably adjudicated NACI investigation

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Possess a current Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional certification or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III Program Management

  • Bachelor's Degree in an IT related field.

  • Secret Clearance preferred
