Porch is looking for a seasoned, customer-centric Technical Product Manager to lead our Fulfillment Platform team. You will define and drive implementing our next-generation platform, help us deliver an industry-leading customer experience for our homeowners, as well as integrate requirements from a number of existing fulfillment products.
As a Technical Product Manager at Porch, you're an owner. You're responsible for the vision, strategy, roadmap, and delivery of products that delight our customers. This role requires you to combine your passion for helping customers with your technical expertise to ensure we're building a solid and scalable platform to scale our business. You'll be comfortable with ambiguity, thinking big and diving deep. You'll be responsible for helping grow our business by working with customers to define and prioritize requirements for our products. This role will require strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a passion for customers as you help shape our company direction in the coming years.
What You Will Do
Set the strategy for your product and evangelize the vision with the organization
Create and manage the product roadmap - gather detailed business opportunities and turn them into the epics and stories that set the direction for engineering team. Enable customer advocacy in solution design and prioritization.
Define and prioritize new features and strategic initiatives to scalability of internal operations, support revenue growth, and customer satisfaction.
Facilitate trade-off decisions between investment, schedule and customer benefit. Use data to drive the development and prioritization of new products and product improvements
Passion for product: conceiving, designing, building, and shipping it. You should be a product geek and a maven of all things product.
Work to continually improve the customer experience throughout the entire customer journey
Actively build relationships with business owners, product managers, and engineers to deliver on your product roadmap.
Operate autonomously; drive programs end to end including business goals, technical solution, launch planning and execution
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree or above in a technical discipline (e.g. Computer Science or Engineering)
3+ years of relevant experience in product management
Experience building technical platforms to enable teams to move quickly
Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts and manage tradeoffs.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data and metrics to drive action
Ability to think strategically and execute methodically
Willingness to roll up your sleeves, learn, and get the job done
