Job Summary:
Under general supervision, provides oversight for special programs at the Cedar Center for the Arts and MOAH:CEDAR galleries. This role will be responsible for leading a small team of art program leaders in the development of exhibitions, special projects, and public programming.
Leadership Responsibilities:
May oversee Art Program Leaders.
Example of Duties & Responsibilities:
Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Work closely with MOAH:CEDAR's Arts and Culture Coordinator to implement and facilitate MOAH:CEDAR's exhibitions and programming
Work closely with MOAH:CEDAR's coordinator to support MOAH's curatorial objectives, including artist interfacing, registration, condition reports, and art handling.
Assist Arts and Culture Coordinator in interfacing with artists and other community stakeholders to facilitate innovative public programs
Oversee a small team of 6 to 9 staff members and their regular roster of MOAH:CEDAR programs
Assist Arts and Culture Coordinator with various administrative tasks including scheduling, communications, emails, and marketing
Assist in training incoming members of the MOAH:CEDAR team
Assist in evaluating MOAH:CEDAR's current roster of programs

Education and Experience:
Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for acceptable job performance
Currently enrolled in a college or university majoring in Arts or a related field is desirable
