Description: You are responsible for executing duties as Leader on Duty (LOD) when scheduled, which encompasses complete autonomy in overseeing total store operations and team on duty.

Partner with leaders to hold team members accountable to their performance by teaching, coaching, training and delivering timely performance feedback; partner with leader(s) as needed. Assess, recommend and retain top talent at the hourly team member level and proactively communicate staffing and scheduling needs to the HR team. Stay current on your store's financial, team and operational performance; identify the root cause of problems and take action to achieve performance goals.Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members.

Able to learn and adapt to current technology needs. Able to think quickly on the spot to answer guest questions. Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays) and regular attendance necessary.

VIEW JOBS 11/16/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-14T00:00 Responsibilities Mission Responsible for routine Quality Control shop floor compliance with applicable regulatory requirements by conducting audits, data and documentation reviews and analysis and other such duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably assigned to you. All employees are responsible for training on, understanding, and following documented procedures which apply to their departments that support the Quality System. Key Accountabilities (4 to 6 key accountabilities): * Quality lead to ensure quality and right the first time efforts. * Ensures that continuous incremental improvements are made in decreasing lab error. * Informs area managers of any problems or concerns and recommends solutions. * Issuance and Review of QC Shop floor documentation (QC logbooks, QC testing forms, Monthly water binder (PR)) for completeness and compliance * Ensures processes / operations are documentd in a timely and accurate manner. * Assistance with audits (internal and external), which may require occasional overnight travel * Participation in the management of Quality Systems (OOS, Change Control and Deviation) processes including issuance and review/approval. * Initiates CAPAs and Change controls and follows them to completion. * Fully investigates and understands root causes of deviations/OOS in a step-by-step way. * Routine compliance monitoring of the shop floor – Audit QC logbooks monthly, Audit QC laboratory, Ensure lab equipment is within specification * Review/Approve/assist in writing all QC Documentation (SOPs revisions/activations, protocols, trend reports for water and clean steam, EM monitoring) * Issuance Quality Control Forms. * Support QA Manufacturing Shop Floor and ENG Shop Floor as required. * Monthly KPI reporting * Continually monitors QC activities with emphasis on safety, quality, efficiency and cost. * Other duties as assigned - Release of raw materials/Assist in PNS revisions as required Scope and dimensions Breadth of responsibility (global/regional/country/site): * This is a Protein Sciences a Sanofi Company, positon located at the Meriden, CT facility. Position has a high degree of autonomy and is expected to make decisions and interpretations within broadly defined requirements. Education and experience Specific degree, duration of experience (Required to hold the job): * Minimum BS level degree in a relevant science, biomedical or pharmaceutical technical education with experience in and/or knowledge of documentation and quality systems or the combination of experience and training that is equivalent. * Quality Control knowledge is a must. Knowledge of QC testing (HPLC, BCA, LAL, conductivity and Bioburden) and trend reporting. * 2-3 years working experience in a GMP environment * Fluent in English both oral and written * Experienced in relevant computer software * Organized * Able to work within a team Competencies (LEAD model) – key competencies the job holder will be evaluated on (HOW in 9box): * Interpersonal skills, Basic GMP knowledge, detailed oriented, flexible, open minded and the ability to work with cross functional teams Key technical competencies and soft skills: * This position must interact sucessfully with the fast paced project team and have a good understanding of manufacturing process * Strong communication skills are critical to ensure teams are guided through cGMP (Quality System) requirements.
