Opportunity Overview

Description: Responsible for ensuring timely and accurate payments to our clients in both the United States and Canada through a variety of different Corporate Action events impacting US and Canadian clients. Major responsibilities include:

  • Voluntary Offer event interpretation and processing

  • Mandatory Offer event interpretation and processing

  • Proxy

  • Other distribution and related Corporate Action events as needed (Stock Options, Class Actions, etc.)

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required or concentration in business, audit, accounting, finance or management are preferred

  • Series 7 and 66 required within 12 months of start date required

  • 5 or more year's financial services industry or accounting experience, with operations experience strongly preferred

  • 3 or more years of management experience required

  • Expected to ensure proper resources and staffing are available to perform the work and only step in to assist when needed

  • Must have understanding of industry knowledge and skills in the areas of product, processes, risks, controls, and/or automation, within 6 months of hire, and use that knowledge to produce results

  • Specific Product knowledge (Ex...Bonds, Equities, UIT's) is a plus

  • Ability to lead projects and system enhancements is required

  • Must have an awareness of the technology and tools available internally as well as externally to provide solutions and create process efficiencies

  • Must have industry knowledge and skills in areas of product, processes, risks, controls and/or automation

  • Must investigate issues and problems thoroughly and resolve in a reasonable period of time on a daily basis

  • Demonstrate ability to use critical thinking skills to resolve complex challenges

  • Must have the ability to multi-task and work on items that at times may have very short deadlines

  • Very detailed orientated

Role Purpose Oversees daily management of medical material (supplies, equipment and linen) for multiple departments throughout the hospital and/or network. Primary duties will include supply room and warehouse cleaning and organization, department customer service, reviewing item par levels and usage with department leadership, bin optimization, material ordering, receiving and stocking, assisting with manufacturer recall notifications/usage investigations. Aids in training, mentoring and developing new Supply Technicians. Performs other duties as assigned. Senior Supply Techs should be able to perform all core competencies as well as assist in training, mentoring and development of Supply Techs. Responsibilities Able to apply lean supply philosophy, performs basic analytics using Microsoft products and other tools available through supply chain management systems.Performs material receiving functions verifying correct items, quantities, processing receipts in the inventory management computer system, process RTVs, tagging/labeling and staging items for delivery.Review reports, collaborate with department staff to adjust par levels, coordinate opportunities for improvement, implement and maintain standardized community supply model, assist w/JIT room audits.Processes stock/non-stock orders in the inventory management systems, coordinates with procurement to resolve order issues, RTVs, discrepancies, match exceptions, recalls and returns to vendor.Provides daily oversight of material functions while ensuring a safety focused environment complying with BJC, OSHA, Joint Commission standards and performs housekeeping functions in supply rooms.
