Senior Tax Specialist/Hybrid

Job Description Job Description Marcum Search is working with a client to find a sophisticated Senior Tax Preparer / Manager to work in their NYC location. HYBRID position, 2 days a week in the office.

Must possess CPA or EA designation . Seeking a highly technical tax person. Strong in pass thru entities, high net worth individuals, trusts and estates. Industry knowledge of hedge funds and real estate a plus.

Responsibilities Strong focus on pass thru entities, high net worth individuals, trusts and estates. Industry knowledge of hedge funds and real estate a plus. Has intermediate to advanced level tax preparation skills.

Advanced technical knowledge of accounting standards and reporting standards in researching, completing, and reviewing technical areas. Addresses questions on technical accounting matters from team members and upper-level client management. Experience working with a mix of corporate and personal clients Has advanced knowledge of applicable accounting software (e.g., ProSystem and CCH Axcess) Participates in planning and execution of client engagement in collaboration with the Manager and/or Partner on the job.
