Prepare or review all aspects of federal and state income tax compliance applying tax concepts and knowledge of entities, including state combination, allocation and apportionment, state modifications, net operating losses, and e-filingDelegate effectively to staff to promote cost efficiency and career development
Liaise with accounting colleagues and maintain familiarity with accounting processes, systems, and policies
Prepare correspondence with tax authorities related to notices and desk audits; assist controversy team in responding to information requests from auditors
Work on special projects and stretch assignments, demonstrating eagerness to self-develop and explore new areas
College degree with coursework demonstrating an interest in finance, tax, and/or accounting, graduate degree in tax a plus
5 years of broad tax experience in corporate tax compliance and provisions
Critical thinking and problem solving skills, with initiative and persistence to pursue problems and opportunities
Strong communication and team skills
Familiarity with ERP, tax compliance and tax provision software; in particular, prefer experience in Corptax Compliance, OneSource Tax Provision, and/or Hyperion/Oracle ERP Suite
Strong Microsoft Office skill
