Senior Tax Associate

Job Type: Full-time

Salary:$65,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
• Conduct tax research and provide guidance on tax planning strategies
• Assist with tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities
• Perform account analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial statements
• Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information and documents
• Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior tax associates

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• CPA Certification preferred

Experience level:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting or related field
• Strong knowledge of financial concepts and securities law
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks
• Experience with financial planning and analysis
• Familiarity with payroll and sales tax regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
• Extended hours during tax season

Ability to commute/relocate:

• St. Louis, MO 63119: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Tax experience: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CPA (Preferred)
