Senior Tax Associate - Legal Industry

Hire Resolve's client, a well-established law firm specializing in taxation law, is seeking a Senior Tax Associate to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional with a background in the legal industry.

As a Senior Tax Associate, you will work closely with attorneys and clients to provide comprehensive tax advice and assistance. You will play a key role in tax planning, compliance, and controversy matters.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis of complex tax issues
• Advise clients on tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities
• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships
• Assist with tax audits and represent clients in tax controversy matters
• Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior tax professionals

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Taxation, Accounting, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a tax professional in a law firm or legal environment
• CPA or JD/LLM degree preferred
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
