Transport Services Provided, Work Mode : Hybrid : 2 days' Work from Home and 3 days' Work from Office.
Work from Office timings: IST 07:30 am to IST 04:30 pm
What you will do
Purpose of Role: Support Tax Ops and the APAC based Centers of Excellence (COE's) with tax compliance obligations of Tetra Pak entities, with specific emphasis on compliance of Tetra Pak India
Core Responsibilities:
Managing and reconciling ITC claims
Filing GST Returns:
Record Keeping and verification of Invoices.
Assisting manager Indirect Taxes in handling internal and external GST audits.
Liaison with Authorities
Handling VAT Related matters including monitoring and follow up for C forms.
Staying updated with GST laws and regulations and conducting training sessions
Identifying areas for process automation and implementing
Preparing detailed GST reports and summaries for management and stakeholders.
Responding appropriately to the various queries of internal stakeholders
We believe you have
Person Specification:
A strong tax compliance background and experience is a requirement to be considered for this role and it is a further advantage to have previous experience in finance or accounting such as a bookkeeping role. You must be passionate about tax compliance and have a genuine interest in this area of expertise.
Specific key requirements are as follows:
Tax technical:
Degree in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum 6 years of relevant tax experience. Candidates with Tax Audit (GST/VAT) handling experience would be preferred.
Working knowledge on India Tax regulation (GST, VAT)
Good accounting Knowledge (SAP environment).
Should have sound understanding of financial statements and how to navigate through various schedules.
Tax Technology:
Excellent knowledge of Advanced MS Excel
Hands on experience on SAP ERP
Candidates having experience of developing Macros, RPAs and working knowledge of Power BI would be preferred.
Technology enthusiast (should provide regular updates on technology front)
Prior experience of working on Tax Technology Projects such as Handling of Tax rate changes, E- invoicing etc. would be preferred.
