Opportunity to play a key role in an international, $1 Billion

  • publicly traded company headquartered outside of Atlanta. This is a high visibility role within the Finance organization. The role will interface with our corporate treasury and finance teams, along with our global finance teams supporting our Global Tax Strategy and Risk. The ideal candidate has a strong International tax foundation, as well as a strong work ethic, critical thinking skills, the desire to drive change and process improvement, and ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.

What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be

  • Collect information and assist in the preparation of US international tax compliance, as well as corporate and indirect tax filings as required for local jurisdictions.

  • Create and prepare workpapers relating to E&P and foreign tax credit pools and other tax attributes.

  • Prepare quarterly and annual domestic ASC 740 (FAS 109/FIN 48) tax provisions, including the application of FIN 48.

  • Collect and update intercompany agreement schedules and all transfer pricing documentation used for compliance and planning purposes, as necessary.

  • Engage in special projects, including tax planning, provision, forecasting, research and documentation.

  • Research technical international tax matters and prepare memoranda to document conclusions.

  • Ensure that all filing deadlines are met in compliance with our tax calendar.

  • Monitor and analyze tax legislation and inform management of the impact from a tax compliance and provision perspective.

Your Professional Experience Should Be

  • 4+ years of significant International tax experience with public accounting or large multinational corporation

  • Proven experience with US International income tax compliance

  • Basic experience with ASC 740, Accounting for Income taxes

  • CorpTax Software experience preferred

Your Education Should Be

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from 4-year college or university is required

  • Master's degree preferred

  • CPA (or CPA track) preferred

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require

  • Lift up to 15 pounds

  • Sitting, standing, stooping, bending, other related tasks in an office setting
