About the Role
The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner (TAP) is responsible for the development of specific business recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies as well as developing new creative recruitment approaches. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that the best possible talent will be hired through a partnership with the Business Leaders and Recruiting.
This role is responsible for providing strategic recruitment support for IBMs business areas. The Senior TAP will execute external recruiting, act as the key contact for candidates, drive recruiting strategies, and build/maintain client relationships. You will work with business leaders to deliver qualified talent to fill critical roles and provide market intelligence to drive recruiting business outcomes.
Lead recruiting activity for specifically identified business groups with a focus on domestic & international attorneys
Support candidates throughout all stages of the application and hiring process and ensure a signature candidate experience.
Build and be a phenomenal partner with internal partners and business leaders to understand hiring forecasts and recruiting priorities and to fill critical hiring needs in a timely manner.
Deliver comprehensive support and consultation to business hiring groups in full life cycle recruitment process.
Identify and lead partners and influencers to accelerate and run the recruitment process.
Drive recruiting activity for aligned client groups for their technical professional hiring needs.
Coach managers/interview teams to incorporate capability and competency based assessments during their interview.
Build and bring to bear external relationships with technical/diversity/professional associations, to help shape sourcing strategy and develop future talent pipelines.
Actively research new recruitment methodologies, competitive intelligence to craft creative sourcing strategies. Conduct external benchmarking to understand high-reaching recruiting landscape and influence standard methodologies with team and partners.
Participate in and/or lead diversity recruiting strategies to attract a diverse workforce to IBM by hiring talented people of diverse backgrounds, experiences and styles.
Effectively use social media tools in alignment with IBMs Social Media and Branding Strategy.
Meet/exceed key recruiting performance metrics.
Set high recruitment standards ensuring operational excellence and compliance.
Sr. Recruiting Professionals are located in IBM offices in New York City, Armonk, and/or New Castle, NY & are required to have experience & domain expertise recruiting senior legal talent with large tech companies.
