What you will do:
Responsible for the full-cycle recruiting process throughout the organization. Execute a recruiting plan by employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new and creative recruiting ideas. Plays a critical role in ensuring the best possible talent is hired. Administer the recruiting process to attract high performing talent. Sources candidates for more senior level roles within the organization and provides guidance to Talent Acquisition Partners as needed. Provide strategic support that will contribute to successfully sourcing, attracting, evaluating and onboarding high quality talent. Proactively contribute to the design, deployment and execution of talent acquisition initiatives.
Position locations - Manhattan or Long Island.
3 5 years recruiting experience
Bachelor's degree preferred
In-depth knowledge of federal and state labor laws
Strong knowledge of company policies, procedures
Ability to assess situations and people quickly and accurately
Ability to work with various departments and hiring managers
Knowledge of technology and social media as recruitment tools
Strong negotiation skills
Ability to develop, cultivate and leverage a professional network that yields candidates and referrals
Strategically match the needs and interests of the company and the candidate while selling against competitive opportunities
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, time-management and communication skills
Ability and willingness to share skills, knowledge and expertise
Metrics orientation to drive performance and evaluate ROI of talent acquisition plans
Knowledge of trends in the current job market
Ability to create and maintain outside business partners that support the Bank's recruiting strategy
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, database management and record keeping
