Job Overview

System administrator of a content management tool manages a product portfolio database consisting of published data-codes and descriptions, with associated rule structures of compatibility, prices and weights.

Responsibilities

  • Manage product definition database structure and how DTNA defines our product offerings for the marketplace.

  • Drive continuous improvement in product definition content, including: published data-codes and descriptions, with associated rule structures of compatibility, prices and weights.

Collaboration with the following teams:

  • Pricing and Customer Application Engineering teams: responsible for the price and weight content of our published options.

  • Engineering Compatibility and Customer Application Engineering -responsible for option rule structures (compatibility).

  • SpecPro - responsible for reflecting published content to our dealer sales force.

  • Marketing Strategy- responsible for introducing new products and content and the sun-setting old products and content.

  • Responsible for system requirements, upgrades, user requirements, user acceptance testing and documentation.

  • Responsible for system installation of content management tool for new users, hardware upgrades for existing users as needed. Includes the problem resolution of software issues reported by users.

  • Responsible for system documentation including analyst process procedures to prepare product definition XML and PDFs.

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college with 3 years of related experience required

  • An attached resume is required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, MIS, Computer Science or related disciplines preferred.

  • Experience with Continuous Improvement, LEAN concepts and visual management best practices preferred.

  • Experience in an engineering, manufacturing or service environment preferred.

  • 3 years of trucking industry experience preferred.

Sr Supply Chain Information System Analyst (R-19-1674) We are transforming our Supply Chain operations and need your talent! In this role, you'll analyze, manage, and drive all things 'system' with regard to supply chain information systems and our data management approach, inclusive of developing reports to assist and support Supply Chain employees, internal clients and management throughout the company. You'll also develop and coordinate processes, procedures and enhancements of our existing Oracle PeopleSoft system. This role will be instrumental in requirements gathering, analysis and evaluation of new supply chain and reporting systems,, driving implementation through configuration, process and procedure development, user acceptance testing and training. You will collaborate with a dedicated IT team and PGE's Finance Center of Excellence in our journey. You will join a new Supply Chain Operations team comprised of System & Reporting (this role), Master Data Management, Social Responsibility & Governance, and Supplier Performance Management. Our objective; enable and improve company performance through an efficient, effective and result-based Supply Chain experience. Key Responsibilities You will support our journey by: * Serving as the supply chain system administrator, providing authoritative advice and guidance on all replenishment policies and processes; developing elaborate and the most complex software system tools, programs and processes to improve the quality, quantity and organization of supply chain data. * Overseeing the creation, management and running of reports and queries; ensuring that the data on metrics is maintained and provided to stakeholders; ensuring that the supply chain system is maintained; overseeing system training and support; ensuring that the procedures are current; overseeing internal SharePoint and Share drive. * Providing authoritative advice and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders on new applications and system requirements; overseeing the evaluation of new IT developments and evolving business requirements and determining appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems; leading the development of test plans in collaboration with IT and final system acceptance testing. * Overseeing and ensuring the quality of communications, presentations and training on system enhancements and/or alternatives; delivering presentations to executive level. * As a recognized authority on application and operation of the automated system for supply chain, facilitating a collaborative relationship between supply chain management and IT; overseeing the maintenance of the system, repairing of system issues, and development and implementation of new systems and enhancement of existing systems. You will bring the following skills to our team: * A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, finance or other related field or equivalent experience. * Eight or more years in supply chain information systems, materials requirements planning or related field. * Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) preferred * Advanced skills in using enterprise resource planning and asset management software (e.g., PeopleSoft, Maximo) * Advanced skills in evaluating supply chain applications and system requirements in relation to business needs. * Advanced knowledge of FERC and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements related to supply chain practices * Advanced knowledge of electric utility industry material management operations * Advanced analytical thinking skills * Advanced decision-making skills * Advanced interpersonal skills * Advanced organization and prioritization skills * Advanced problem-solving skills * Advanced project management skills * Advanced written and oral communication skills * A valid driver's license and a history of safe driving practices.
