SummaryThe MIL Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Specialist (Financial Analysis, Associate) to join our team supporting a Federal client. The Senior Systems Specialist will be responsible for performing specialized duties involved in the analysis, modification, maintenance, and upgrading of various financial databases and applications. The position is contingent upon award.This position currently requires an on-site schedule with the possibility for a hybrid telework arrangement. Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements.Responsibilities * Analyzing, modifying, maintaining, and upgrading financial databases and applications to ensure accuracy and efficiency for accounting processes such as IPAC and G-invoicing * Compiling, analyzing, and revising financial data, identifying errors and discrepancies, and resolving issues with appropriate personnel * Interpreting, analyzing and communicating financial data to system users * Reviewing and auditing categorical programs and related expenditures, ensuring compliance with regulations and accuracy of expenditures * Preparing journal vouchers related to limited pay ability cancellations, unavailable check cancellations, and payment over cancellations * Maintaining financial records and reports related to reimbursable schedules, cash reconciliations, expenditures, and other assigned activities * Submitting mandated reports to stakeholders according to established timelines * Communicating with trading partners to exchange information, coordinate activities, and resolve issues or concerns * Providing training and support to system users as neededTravelUp to 15% annually, as neededRequired Qualifications* 6-10 years of experience in relevant disciplines or areas of expertise * Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Excel and Word * Familiarity with Momentum-based accounting systems or similar financial software * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Attention to detail and accuracyDesired QualificationsPrior or current experience executing such activities of this role with the DOJ, any of its components, or other law enforcement agenciesEducationMaster's degree or CPA qualificationClearanceWillingness to undergo a Public Trust background investigation.All interested applicants must be U.S. citizens at the time of application.CompensationThe MIL Corporation values your contributions and offers a range of benefits to support your overall well-being.
