We are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer at our TCG facility in Tewksbury, MA. This position is responsible for directly supporting one of TCG's most strategic partners with their integration of TCG's data link software product, LinkPRO. In addition to supporting the strategic partner, the Senior Systems Engineer will evolve into a traditional software systems engineer role to include development of system level requirements, system level tests and customer interaction and support.

Your Challenge:

  • Establish a detailed understanding of the TCG LinkPRO software architecture as it applies to the strategic customer implementation

  • Develop an comparable software test environment to strategic customer in order to efficiently duplicate customer questions and software issues

  • Lead quarterly technical interchange meetings with customer to include review of in process software development activity, outstanding software issues and software development roadmap with specific focus on impact to the customer

  • Quickly respond to software questions and issues reported by strategic partner while coordinating efficiently with TCG Technical Support team

  • Review and update product documentation such as LinkPRO Interface Control Document

  • Develop deep understanding of various tactical data link standards such as MIL-STD-6016, MIL-STD-3011, STANAG 5522, MIL-STD-6017.

  • Develop deep understanding of various tactical data link radios especially Link 16 radios such as MIDS JTRS.

  • Write system level requirements derived from customer requirements and various tactical data link standards.

  • Present system level technical data to software engineering staff via most effective means such as briefings, demonstrations, white papers and white board sessions.

  • Reviews software requirements, design, acceptance test plan, and acceptance test procedure documents

  • Participates in the development and review of TCG's Engineering documentation

  • Assists with resolution of system issues and problems reported by TCG's customers

  • Assists with duplication and test of Tech Support issues and System Trouble Reports (STRs)

You:

  • 5 years of software systems experience with military data links/ especially Link 16, Link 11, Link 22 and/or VMF

  • Experience with both Windows and Linux target environments

  • Experience with analysis tools such as military communications bus protocol analyzers, Ethernet packet capture tools and development of test tools to aid in data analysis

  • Ability to evaluate the function, performance, and usability/suitability of integrated software components

  • Development and execution of repeatable subsystem and system level tests

  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to focus on and complete multiple tasks with attention to detail and organization

  • Must be an effective communicator and a strong collaborator

  • Willingness to travel to customer locations approximately 10-20%

  • U.S. Citizen (for clearance)

  • BSCS or related education

We are currently seeking a Sr Hardware System Integrator / Electrical Engineer to join the Radar Receiver Exciter Integrated Product Team in Tewksbury, MA. This team designs, develops, integrates, and tests the Radar Receiver Exciter hardware for the combat proven RMD integrated air and missile defense systems. The Receiver, Exciter, and Signal Processing (RESP) Department is the focal point for receiver, exciter, beam steering, and signal processing technology in the RMD division. The department is responsible for the design, development, integration, support to production builds, and lifecycle support of RMD products. We are looking for candidates to provide hardware integration and test support for existing radar systems. The Senior Hardware System Integrator Electrical Engineer will be expected to perform the following: * Sub-System design verification testing * Utilization of RF based test equipment (Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Logic Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, etc.) to resolve hardware system issues on various production lines * Assist in the definition and development of verification and test plans * Test and troubleshooting of RF sub-systems * Interface with supply chain and suppliers to resolve production issues * Partnering in the development of test equipment and establishment of test requirements and procedures * Leadership of root cause and corrective action investigations and presentation of findings to the integrated product team Required Skills: * Minimum 6 years of experience supporting production and/or Test of electrical sub-systems and Radar systems * Experience with testing and troubleshooting RF and Microwave component/subsystem such as up-converters, down converters, power amplifiers, waveform generators, RF modulators, and limiters * Proven experience troubleshooting and performing failure analysis of circuits with demonstrated knowledge of associated measurement equipment. * Ability to understand and interpret Acceptance Test Requirements * Strong skills and experience performing analysis of technical data * Experience as a radar systems engineer or radar system integrator * Strong communication skills including report writing and presentations * U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within one year of start date. Required Education * Bachelor's degree in an engineering or scientific discipline. Advance degree desirable.
