Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is seeking an Senior Systems Security Engineer to work onsite in Largo, FL.
In the Strategic Solutions Protected Communication Systems (PCS) Systems Engineering department, our focus lies in designing, integrating, and optimizing protected communications systems to fulfill mission objectives. We play a crucial role as a major contributor to the Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2) initiative, which aims to connect the battlespace for quicker and more intelligent decision-making processes. What You Will Do
Support Protected Communications cybersecurity tasking including the application of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) for NC3 systems
Assist with planning and implementation of System Security Engineer (SSE) solutions into RTX products
Assist in guiding SSE implementation tasks
Support system development plans and estimates, task implementation, project tracking, reporting, and risk identification and mitigation plans
Interact with customer to define SSE requirements, solutions, trades, costs, implementation, system impacts, and effectiveness
Assist program stakeholders with SSE architecture and issues
Assist the integration and test teams with Cybersecurity test events and documentations
Assist with the NSA on Type1 cryptography certification processes
Support attack threat modeling and Critical Program Information assessments activities
Develop top-level system requirements, flowing down requirements, and implementation concepts to subsystem
Qualifications You Must Have
Experience including at least one of the following: embedded SW design or electrical engineering or systems engineering design experience
Experience in the fields of computer technology reverse engineering, Anti Tamper, or embedded security
Experience generating security requirements for program protection, design and architecture artifacts, plans, and/or policies
Experience with applying RMF to embedded systems
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
ACTIVE SECRET Security Clearance REQUIRED
Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
