Senior Systems Integration Engineer (Hybrid)

Actalent is hiring a Sr Systems Integration Engineer to support Space Domain Awareness in sunny southern California! Work directly with government customers on exciting space programs. Candidate must possess an active US DoD Secret or Top Secret+ Security Clearance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Evaluation and assessment of Space Warfighting Analysis Center (SWAC) Force Design recommendations for space systems at the cross- enterprise level, linking materiel solutions to warfighter capability needs in coordination with the Chief Strategy and Resource Office (CSRO) for requirements development

• Focused on supporting prioritized operational vignettes and mission engineer threads for increased space resiliency to identify and recommend materiel investments providing measurable mission / operational value

• Support development of mission area roadmaps and capability integrated packages focused on improving resilience, capacity and operational timelines for Battle Management Command, Control and Communications (BMC3) and Space Domain Awareness/Combat Power (SDA/CP) Programs

• Support Space Systems Command annual budget process (POM Cycle) by evaluating program inputs and recommending prioritization based on enterprise needs

• Support SSC Level Engineering Review Board and Configuration Control Board processes by recommending operationally relevant enterprise requirements that improve mission execution and / or resiliency

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 7-9 years of aerospace industry, federal government experience, or SETA/FFRDC supporting federal government acquisition

• Masters Degree in Engineering field to include space operations, Physics, Engineering, Mathematics, Operations Analysis, Business or a related discipline

• Knowledge and experience in Space and Satellite Systems

• Experience working DoD Budget Process (POM) Desired

• Experience working classified and SAP work Desired

• Experience in Capability Gap Analysis / Requirements Management Desired

• Experience in Space Domain Awareness, Combat Power, Battle Management Command, Control and Communications (BMC3) Desired
