Senior Systems Engineers

Senior Systems Engineers for Randstad Digital, LLC. Multiple openings.

Headquarters: Woburn, MA. Design architecture, web environments, solutions, systems and integration functions. Provide middleware and end-to-end administration for online banking and eCommerce platforms.

Review risk, security, system architecture, stability, hardware, software, project plans. Deliver enterprise projects and regulatory legislative initiatives, provide patches with current software version, and perform server installation, configuration, performance tuning and production support. Collaborate with customers, and application/testing teams, design infrastructure and topology for high availability and failover capability, interface with customers and vendors regarding SDLC, and execute production changes for integrated and regulatory releases.

Develop scripts, update playbooks, automate build. Maintain design documentation and specifications, troubleshoot problems, satisfy client/user needs, recommend systems modifications, and formulate test plans. Use WebSphere, JBoss, IBM HTTP Server, SOLR, WXS, Java, J2EE, WAS, Tomcat, Apache, Unix, Shell, Wrapper, Ansible, Python, Horizon, BitBucket, Git, Artifactory, Celestial, Docker, Splunk, Container, Jenkins, CI/CD, XL, JDBC, Tivoli Performance Viewer, Wily, Log Analyzer, Thread Analyzer, Heap Analyzer, Introscope, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, TrueSight, MQ. 40 hrs/wk.

Must have Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field and 2 years experience in the proffered position, or as a Developer, Software Engineer, Technology Analyst, Programmer Analyst, or related occupation. In the alternative, will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in the specified fields plus 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the specified occupations. Must have 2 years of experience maintaining middleware; performing administration; reviewing stability; developing scripts; automating build; using WebSphere, JBoss, IBM HTTP Server, Tomcat, Apache, Ansible, Git, Splunk, Jenkins, CI/CD, XL, JDBC, Wily, AppDynamics.
