SAIC is currently seeking a Link 16 *Systems Engineer *with experience in tactical data links and MIL-STD interpretation to support the Army Network Design Facility (ANDF) and the Joint Network Design Aid (JNDA) to ensure interoperability among the tactical C2 systems used in joint and multinational military operations located onsie in Huntsville, Alabama.
The successful candidate will develop and maintain existing system requirements documentation while ensuring that these requirements support the interoperability of the host platforms and the Link 16 network terminal. In fulfilling the requirements of this position, the candidate will participate in weekly working groups for both the Common Application Suites for Link 16 (CASL) and NETMAN, supporting JNDA, for the ANDF.
BS degree and 5+ years relevant experience; four (4) years of expereince accepted in lieu of degree
Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to electronically organize data and present technical information to both internal and external customers
Extensive knowledge with Army and NATO tactical Data Link Standards
Candidate must be a self-starter, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Candidate must possess an active Interim SECRET clearance
