Job Summary:
The Raytheon Mission Systems Engineering Team is looking for a Senior Systems Navigation (NAV) Signal-in-Space Monitor (NSM) Engineer. As the NAV & NSM Engineer, you will support a diverse team of engineers throughout the full systems and software lifecycle. The position is for the Aurora, CO location and is a hybrid role. The selected applicant will work with the Program to set schedule.
Responsibilities to anticipate as related to NAV and NSM:
Assist in providing technical direction and clarification of requirements and design
Support technical interchange meetings with program management and the customer
Engage in the entire system/software lifecycle, from conceptualization and design to development, testing, deployment
Basic Qualifications:
Active Security Clearance
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
+5 years of experience in GPS Navigation field
M&S or Algorithm area experience including simulation in differential GPS
Background with Kalman Filter algorithm or GPS NAV area
Experience with Matlab, C, C++, Java
Systems Engineering experience on a large government software development contract
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Systems Engineering process development and deployment
Experience decomposing requirements and helping determine how requirements will be validated and verified
Systems Integration and/or Test Engineering experience on a large government software development contract
Demonstrated ability to effectively work with and communicate on the program with all levels of management, individual contributors and Government teams
Proven written and oral communication skills

Location Information:
Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
