• Cyber Security Specialist, you will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining information systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.   Responsibilities: Provide technical expertise to design, build, configure, and maintain information systems Support systems engineering activities in Windows, Linux, and VMWare environments Make recommendations based on customer requirements and industry best practices Collaborate with colleagues in a dynamic DEVOPS environment Assume lead on assigned projects Create and maintain technical documentation Provide purchase justifications and project benefit analysis Forecast costs for project-related equipment and software Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field 5 years of practical, service-oriented experience in the IT field Active USG TS SCI security clearance with CI Polygraph Working knowledge and experience with relevant security controls and frameworks (ICD 503, NIST 800-53r4/5, NIST 800-171R2, NIST Risk Management Framework, NISPOM Chapter 8, DCSA DAAPM 2.2) Experience in performing security tasks including vulnerability scanning, compliance audits, and IT security program management support activities Extensive experience with USG Assessment and Authorization process Ability to build environments utilizing Windows, Linux, and VMWare products Ability to resolve difficult technical issues across multiple operating systems Strong foundation using cyber security tools and enterprise-wide services Familiarity with network storage and security controls evaluation Experience automating routine administrative tasks Capable of writing proposals, procedures, and technical documentation Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills Team player who can work independently and adapt to changing environments
