Job Summary

As a Senior Systems Analyst, you will provide leadership for the enhancement, maintenance, and operation of MMB's Information Systems. You will provide technical guidance, advice and assistance to other state agencies involved in the use of MMB's Information Systems. You will install, update, identify, diagnose and resolve complex software problems for the systems. You will serve as a senior consultant to multiple problem solving groups aimed at implementing these systems both within MMB and statewide.

Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications:

Candidates must clearly demonstrate all of the following qualifications in their resume:

This position requires a minimum of five (5) years of systems administration in an Oracle environment.

Experience must include:

  • Oracle Engineered Systems Exadata and Exalogic

  • Oracle/PeopleSoft software

  • Oracle Linux OS

  • MS Windows OS

  • Demonstrated leadership experience as an application infrastructure lead, team lead or supervisory experience

A Masters degree in Information Technology or a related field substitutes for three years of experience, OR a related Bachelors degree substitutes for two years, OR a related Associates substitutes for one year.

Successful candidate must pass past-employer reference checks and a criminal history verification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Significant knowledge of Oracle Engineered Systems Exadata and Exalogic

  • Experience with Oracle Linux virtual machine

  • Extensive Windows operating systems

  • Extensive experience in information systems analysis, network analysis, and software project management

  • Experienced with F5 Load Balancer administration

  • Extensive knowledge of computer systems concepts

  • Extensive knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM, ELM, EPM, FMS, and POR

  • Extensive experience supporting multi-server mission critical production environments

  • Broad knowledge of middleware and client/server architecture

  • Significant knowledge of telecommunications and data networking analysis and design

  • Experience with implementing system backup and recovery solutions in a production environment

  • Experience with TCP/IP, router configuration/programming, DNS Services, and remote application servers

  • Experience with network application protocols such as World Wide Web (WWW) and FTP

  • Experience evaluating system performance and identifying performance issues and recommending corrective actions to eliminate performance bottlenecks

  • Ability to communicate clearly, present complex information to users in a comprehensive style, and translate technical and system information for non-technical stakeholders
